In the last two weeks we have defeated the Stygian Dragon, Medusa, the Slasher of Veils, and nearly everything else SA has to offer. We've even managed to get a 120 mysticism scroll and several other power scrolls for the new skills.
Tonight at 7 p.m. ET there will be a HoC chat via Stratics, and there is also an in-game event on Chesapeake tonight at 8 p.m. ET, at the West Britain Counselor's Hall. This event will extend into tomorrow, the "Missing Mage Quest," also at 8, then on Friday, October 2nd, there will be a Treasure Hunt Competition.
Also, for members and alliance, be sure to check out the Events page for this Friday's new event!
Hope you are all enjoying SA!
Joining and Council Pages Updated :: Posted 08/18/2009, 6:21 a.m. EDT
Last Thursday the guild battled Ilhenir the Stained in Bedlam
The Joining page has been updated with a brief history of the guild, how [SHE] came about and how [SHOT] came about. The Council page has also been updated to reflect the current administration.
Also, be sure to check out the Auction's upcoming 5th birthday!
New Council Members :: Posted 04/03/2008, 4:22 a.m. EDT
GM Vic has appointed two SHE members to Council positions to fill vacancies left by prior Council members. Elected are Shelra and Makodopest, both of whom have contributed to the guild over the years. You know Shelra from her auction duties and IDOCing ;), and Mak from his PvP, and Oceania lingo ;P. Congrats to both!
Moonglow has been sent back in time, or back to the future, or something. The result is a bunch of nasties on the other side of a portal near Moonglow Inn and Stable. They say demons will come next. Who knows though. This new spawn has a few interesting things to note. The winged warriors give "plane shields" and "plane swords," blue hued items that are always spellchanneling -0, and sometimes have other mods. The dark wisps give threads of fate and life, in three different angles (long white things). The Shadowlords give Cloaks of Corruption, which, from what I can tell, reduce HP/Stam/Mana, with not lasting benefits. Could this be a factions tie in? Hmm.

Here Be Dragons :: Posted 02/15/2008, 6:57 a.m. EST
The most anticipated content of the new year: BOD changes, "super" dragons, "stuffy" statuettes, and ingredients for chocolatering. And as if that wasn't enough, an impromptu Ilsh Vermin! A Valentine's Day long to be remembered. How long before Yew Gate reeks of ninjitsu tamers? How soon before everyone has an extra dexxer or two? Whatever flaws these recent changes might bring, the interest of new toys will overcome. Likewise, please mark your calendars for February 22nd, 2008. Have you ever heard the expression, fighting fire with fire? Get your dragon breath ready.
Rolling on scrolls after a few Fel spawns earlier in the week.
January in Review :: Posted 02/04/2008, 6:56 a.m. EST
Through January, we saw a fair share of PvP and PvM, artifacts, powerscrolls, and super-tight crossbows. Three 120 mage scrolls later, we're in February, but I wanted to share a moment as we look back through some of our January hunts.
We raided, and got raided, over January. Here's one from when CKS raided us at a Barracoon. They raided just after the 'Coon dropped, and we defeated their raid until we could no longer find them in the area.
Then we split the loot up at Del.
In Trammel, we did a ton of peerless. Lady M, a favorite of Zar, earned us crimmies, hair dyes, and the all-popular taint.
Then we stepped it up a notch, with a week featuring Merkatus and the Shimmering Effusion as headliners. Merkatus was rough as always, but due to the teamwork of Zabrina, Dak, and Mak, we were up again in no time to defeat the spawn.
We killed Mr. Shimmer three times a few days later in the week, with few troubles outside of a nasty blob or two. The more we go through Prism, the easier it seems.
And at the Dread Horn last Tuesday, member Church received the Dread Horn's Revenge, a special kryss item only found on the Dread Horn. Here is a picture of Demon luring to us as we work from the drop zone.
As we enter February, may you all be witness to the funny remarks Fierro makes about the noobs at Yew Gate =P. Long live the Zerge.
Reforged Alliance Brings Prosperity :: Posted 01/06/2008, 8:50 a.m. EST
The alliance between SHOT and SW@T is now extended between all of our guilds, allowing for unrivaled communication between our alliance members. As a result, we are fighting more and bringing back more to SHE. Make sure to sign on Monday, we have a long roll ahead ;).
Vic has named Demon Slayer the new GM of SHOT! Congrats Demon! The SHOT council will reform as Demon sees fit. Check the board for more details. If you are curious about SHOT / SW@T relations, please ask Vic or Demon for the skinny.
In local news, there are reports of X finishing the broken Harrower. Interesting. :) This means every Harrower will be "normal," now. Hrm. :) Or at least, the normal version of harder than normal :/.
Arty update! Tigger of SHE received his very first arties from the system, ever! After Mr. Tig received the Ornate Crown, he picked up a few more, including a brand spankin' new Midnight Bracers and an AOF! Congrats Tigger! We continue our two day Doom Fest tonight, around 8 p.m. EST @ Delucia bank. Be there or be square.
On behalf of Vic and the council, I would like to extend a happy holidays to you all! And, of course, in the spirit of Vic, Get R Done! =D
Raining Artifacts and PvP Fun :: Posted 12/10/2007, 2:23 a.m. EST
For those who missed our last meeting, Lycanthropy declared his resignation as Emperor of SHE and proclaimed Vic the new leader. Vic has taken control of SHOT for the time being as well, and will designate a leader for SHOT in due time. Also, our guild house has moved. Please ask a member if you have trouble finding the location come Monday night.
The Gauntlet is in full buzz! Many of our members have been rewarded multiple artifacts. Demon Slayer is especially fond of the Fleshrenderers, and I can't say I mind them either ;). On Sunday, our guild received at least five artifacts on the hunt. Great job, guys!
Last Friday, SW@T and SHOT teamed up to complete a raid and a few spawns, back to back to back Rats! Was a lot of fun. SHOT members, remember to register, and know your account there is different than your SHE one! Keep it up, and may the shard one day finish the harrower ;P.
Site Move and Doom Changes :: Posted 11/27/2007, 6:20 a.m. EST
Our old websites, http://gvp.nu/SHE.html and http://gvp.nu/she/ should both redirect to this page now. Let me know if you guys see anything that looks off, because I deleted a few old files and the deletions could have messed up something on these new pages.
The Doom Gauntlet is now working on a Tokuno system where you get points for killing bosses instead of a random RNG roll. Check out the full publish for more details. Keep in mind our old strategy site on the gauntlet is now a bit out of date regarding how luck works. I'll try to tinker with the site as soon as Tigger posts the hunts for this week, but for now, the address is http://gvp.nu/uo/gauntlet.html (images and flash might not show up right now due to file move).
Magincia Full Force :: Posted 11/7/2007, 4:30 p.m. EST
Magincia is back to normal now, and plenty of Light and Void daemons are spawning. Get at them =). The flames have been reduced slightly, but they still hurt. I'm finding an archer or necro mage (wither) works the best, for sure. For more information on the invasion, check out the breakdown.
Brand New Week :: Posted 11/6/2007, 6:02 p.m. EST
Welcome to the new Shadow Hunters Empire website! Not much is functional right now; a work in progress. Last Sunday we finished a six man Paroxy with five mages and one archer. We used the rock stairs in the middle of the island to avoid Paroxysmus' poison and teleport attacks, and we stayed grouped together for arch cures. Good job guys!
I spotted a strategy page on a German fansite, and it is great for newcomers to the Paroxy spawn. Sometime we will have to post a revamped map of the area complete with a bit more detail on the Putrifier, and how we have found to do that guy the best.
